IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (No. 176) (COATED COPY-MAKING FILM) ORDER, 1968.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), and section 22 of the Finance Act, 1962 (No. 15 of 1962), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (No. 176) (Coated Copy-Making Film) Order, 1968.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 10th day of December, 1968.

3. The Imposition of Duties (No. 159) (Customs Duties and Form of Customs Tariff) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 132 of 1966 ), is hereby amended by—

(a) the substitution for the matter contained in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh columns of the Schedule at tariff headings numbers 39.01 (E) (2) and 39.02 (G) (3) of the following:

(b) the substitution for the matter contained in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh columns of the Schedule at tariff heading number 39.03 (B) (5) (b) of the following:

" Other

and

(c) the substitution for the matter contained in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh columns of the Schedule at tariff headings numbers 39.04 (C), 39.05 (C), 39.06 (C) and 39.07 (W) of the following:

" Other

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the restoration of a customs duty of 40% (full, preferential and special preferential), 14% (United Kingdom) and 12% (Northern Ireland) on coated copy-making film.
