DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETING ACT, 1961 (MILK LEVY) ORDER, 1968.

AN BORD BAINNE (hereinafter called "the Board"), in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 36 of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Milk Levy) Order, 1968.

2. The Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (Milk Levy) Order, 1963, is hereby revoked as on and from the 1st day of July, 1968.

3. The rate of milk levy shall be 2 pence per gallon.

4. The said rate of milk levy shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1968.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes 2 pence per gallon as the rate of levy payable to An Bord Bainne by every registered proprietor of a creamery or cream separating station on milk purchased or otherwise acquired by him, other than from another such proprietor, on and after the 1st July, 1968.
