FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE (RESTRICTION OF EXHIBITION AND SALE OF BOVINE ANIMALS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1967.

I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), hereby, for the prevention of the spreading of foot and mouth disease, order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of Exhibition and Sale of Bovine Animals) (Amendment) Order, 1967.

2. In Article 2 of the Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of Exhibition and Sale of Bovine Animals) Order, 1967 ( S.I. No. 263 of 1967 ), "and shall remain in force up to and including the 31st day of December, 1967" is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to extend, sine die, beyond 31st December, 1967, the existing restrictions on the presentation of cattle for sale or exhibition at fairs or shows otherwise than at a licensed mart or at Dublin Cattle Market or under a special licence.
