MAXIMUM PRICES (MILK) (BALLINASLOE) ORDER, 1967.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22A of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 208 of 1965 ), as continued in force by the Prices Stabilisation (Continuance) (No. 2) Order, 1967 ( S.I. No. 209 of 1967 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Milk) (Ballinasloe) Order, 1967.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1967.

3. In this Order—

"fresh milk" has the meaning assigned to it by the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (No. 22 of 1935), and the regulations made thereunder;

"bottled milk" means fresh milk placed in any closed receptacle of a capacity exceeding a half-pint and not exceeding one quart at a wholesaler's or retailer's premises.

4. The maximum prices at which bottled milk (other than milk which is Highest Grade Milk within the meaning of the Milk and Dairies (Special Designations) Regulations, 1938 to 1955), may be sold by retail in the urban district of Ballinasloe in the county of Galway if delivered to the purchaser otherwise than at the vendor's premises shall be prices calculated at the rate of 8d. per pint.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes, as from 1st November, 1967, the maximum retail price for bottled milk (other than highest grade milk) in Ballinasloe, County Galway as defined in the Order. Milk sold in bottles or other closed receptacles of a capacity of a half-pint or less is excluded from the scope of the Order.
