LIVESTOCK MARTS ACT (SECTION 2) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1967.

I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 (3) of the Livestock Marts Act, 1967 (No. 20 of 1967), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Livestock Marts Act (Section 2) (Commencement) Order, 1967.

2. The 21st day of September, 1967, is hereby appointed as the day on which subsections (1) and (2) of section 2 of the Livestock Marts Act, 1967 (No. 20 of 1967), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation on 21st September, 1967, the provisions of the Act for the licensing of livestock marts.
