DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF HOURS) ORDER, 1967.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 26 (1) (F) of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1967.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1967.

2. The hour for holding the District Court in the district court area of Carrickmacross shall, in lieu of that appointed under the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ), and mentioned in column (4) at reference number 197 of the First Schedule and reference number 167 of the Second Schedule to that Order, be 11 a.m.

3. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order alters the existing provisions with regard to the commencement times of sittings of the District Court in Carrickmacross.
