Amendment of section 3 of Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945. |
1.— Section 3 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 , is hereby amended— | |
(a) by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (1): | ||
“(1A) Of the members of the city council who in accordance with an order under this section are elected for an electoral area, such number as is specified for that purpose in the order shall be aldermen and the others shall be councillors.”; and | ||
(b) by the deletion of subsection (5). |
