DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF HOURS) ORDER, 1965.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the power conferred on me by paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 26 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows:

1.— (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1965.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1965.

2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).

3. The hours for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Howth shall—

(a) in lieu of the hours specified in column (4) at reference number 75 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order, be 10.30 a.m., 12 noon and 2 p.m.,

(b) in lieu of the hours specified in column (4) at reference number 66 (as varied by paragraph 3 of the District Court Areas (Variation of Days) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 3 of 1964 )) in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 10.30 a.m. and 2 p.m.,

and the Principal Order shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

4. Business transacted in the District Court Area of Howth which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if paragraph 3 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order alters the existing provisions with regard to the commencement times of sittings of the District Court in Howth.
