DUBLIN HEALTH AUTHORITY AREA (REGISTRARS' DISTRICTS) (NUMBER 3) ORDER, 1965.

I, Pádraig Ó Cinnéide, an tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, and section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Dublin Health Authority Area (Registrars' Districts) (Number 3) Order, 1965.

2. The division of the Dublin Health Authority Area into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows :—

(a) The area described in Part I of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 1 Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

(b) The area described in Part II of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

(c) The area described in Part III of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Killiney Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

(d) The area described in Part IV of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Killiney Registrar's District.

(e) The area described in Part V of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

(f) The area described in Part VI of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Killiney Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Bray No. 2 Registrar's District.

(g) The area described in Part VII of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Killiney Registrar's District and shall henceforth form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District.

3. In the Schedule to this Order:—

(a) A reference to a road, avenue or stream shall be construed as a reference to the centre line of such road, avenue or stream;

(b) A reference to an existing boundary means that boundary as existing immediately before the coming into operation of this Order;

(c) A reference to the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary means the existing boundary of the Borough of Dún Laoghaire.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 3rd day of May, 1965.

SCHEDULE.

PART I.

Description of Area taken from Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 1 Registrar's District to form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 1 Registrar's District and Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District meets Low Water Mark in southerly, south-easterly, westerly, southerly and north-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to its junction with the existing common boundary of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District and Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in a north-westerly direction along the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 1 Registrar's District and Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District to where it meets Stradbrook Road; thence in a northerly direction along Stradbrook Road and the road known as Temple Hill to where the lastmentioned road meets Newtown Avenue; thence along Newtown Avenue to its junction with Seapoint Avenue; thence in an easterly direction along Seapoint Avenue to its junction with the road leading to the western entrance to Brightonvale; thence in a northerly direction along this road and along a line projected in a northerly direction from the termination of this road to Low Water Mark; thence in a south-easterly direction along the line of Low Water Mark to the starting point.

PART II.

Description of Area taken from Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District to form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the junction of Johnstown Road with Rochestown Avenue in a north-westerly direction along Rochestown Avenue to its junction with Sallynoggin Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along Sallynoggin Road to the point where it meets the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary; thence in a north-westerly direction along the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary to its intersection by Kill Avenue; thence in westerly and south-westerly directions successively along Kill Avenue to its intersection by the Clonkeen Stream; thence in a south-easterly direction along the Clonkeen Stream to the point where the stream meets Johnstown Road; thence in northerly and north-easterly directions successively along this road to the starting point.

PART III.

Description of Area taken from Killiney Registrar's District to form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District meets the existing common boundary of Killiney Registrar's District and Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District in north-easterly, southerly and south-easterly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Dún Laoghaire No. 2 and Killiney Registrars' Districts to its junction with the road known as Rochestown Park; thence in a south-westerly direction along this road to its junction with the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in north-westerly and north-easterly directions successively along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART IV.

Description of Area taken from Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District to form part of Killiney Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the junction of Johnstown Road and Pottery Road in a north-easterly direction along Johnstown Road to its junction with the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in south-easterly, south-westerly, north-westerly and south-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to its intersection by Johnstown Road; thence in a northerly direction along Johnstown Road to the starting point.

PART V.

Description of Area taken from Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District to form part of Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District meets the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District in north-easterly, southerly, south-easterly, north-easterly, easterly and northerly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District to its junction with Glenageary Road Upper; thence in westerly and north-westerly directions along Glenageary Road Upper to its junction with the existing common boundary of the Dún Laoghaire No. 1 Registrar's District and Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in north-westerly and south-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to its junction with the existing boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Dún Laoghaire No. 2 Registrar's District to the starting point.

PART VI.

Description of Area taken from Killiney Registrar's District to form part of Bray No. 2 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District meets the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 2 Registrar's District and Bray No. 2 Registrar's District in north-westerly, easterly and northerly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District to its junction with the road leading from Kilgobbin to Carrickmines; thence in an easterly direction along this road to its junction with the road leading from Carrickmines to Cornelscourt; thence in a northerly direction along this road to its intersection by the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in easterly, southerly and north-easterly directions successively along this common boundary to its junction with the road from Kill of the Grange to Ballybrack; thence in a south-easterly direction along this road to where it meets the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary; thence along the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary in a southerly direction generally to where it meets the existing common boundary of Bray No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in a south-westerly direction generally along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART VII.

Description of Area taken from Killiney Registrar's District to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Dundrum and Glencullen No. 1 Registrar's District meets the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District in a south-easterly direction generally along the common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District to the point where it meets the junction of Kerrymount Avenue and the road leading from Cornelscourt to Carrickmines (known as Claremount Road); thence in a southerly direction along this road to its junction with the road leading from Carrickmines to Kilgobbin; thence in a westerly direction along the last mentioned road to the point where it meets the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 2 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in north-westerly, north-easterly, north-westerly and southerly directions successively along this common boundary to where it meets the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 1 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District; thence in a northerly direction along the common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen No. 1 Registrar's District and Killiney Registrar's District to the starting point.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to alter the boundaries of the Registrars' Districts of Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 1, Blackrock and Stillorgan No. 2, Bray No. 2, Dún Laoghaire No. 1, Dún Laoghaire No. 2 and Killiney in the Dublin Health Authority Area.
