Qualified child for purposes of Children's Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1946.

17.—Notwithstanding the provisions of section 4 of the Children's Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1946 , a child who resides with his father while the father, being a member of the Defence Forces or the civil service of the Government or the State, is in the service, outside the State, of the State, the Government or an international organisation shall be a qualified child for the purposes of the Social Welfare (Children's Allowances) Acts, 1944 to 1963.
