LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1941 (APPROPRIATE MINISTER FOR CIVIL DEFENCE OFFICES) ORDER, 1963

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (2) of section 8 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941), hereby orders as follows:—

1. The Minister for Defence shall be the appropriate Minister for the purposes of Part II of the Local Government Act, 1941 , in relation to any office under a local authority, the duties of which relate solely to the functions of a local authority in relation to Civil Defence (other than the office of staff officer, clerical officer, clerk typist or other office the duties of which are wholly of a clerical nature) and in relation to holders thereof.

2. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1941 (Appropriate Minister for Civil Defence Offices) Order, 1963.
