SUPREME COURT AND HIGH COURT (FEES) ORDER, 1963

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 65 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (No. 48 of 1936), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Supreme Court and High Court (Fees) Order, 1963.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 8th day of March, 1963.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The First Schedule to the Supreme Court and High Court (Fees) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 251 of 1956 ), shall have effect as if, in the First Schedule to that Order—

(a) " attested " were substituted for " office " where that word occurs in Part I;

(b) the following were substituted for the matter at reference number 4 in Part II :

" On drawing up and enterin—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Order makes necessary amendments in the provisions of the Supreme and High Court (Fees) Order, 1956, following changes made in jurisdiction and court practice and procedure by the Solicitors (Amendment) Act, 1960 (No. 37 of 1960), the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961 (No. 39 of 1961) and the Rules of the Superior Courts ( S.I. No. 72 of 1962 ).
