NON-CREAMERY BUTTER (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1962

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 31 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Non-Creamery Butter (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1962.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of June, 1962.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The exportation of butter which is non-creamery butter and which is not non-creamery butter being exported by parcel post is hereby prohibited.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to prohibit as from 19th June, 1962, the export of non-creamery butter save under licence or by parcel post.
