CORK AIRPORT (AMENDMENT) BYE-LAWS, 1962.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1950 (No. 4 of 1950), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby make the following bye-laws :

1 Short title and collective citation.

1. (1) These Bye-laws may be cited as the Cork Airport (Amendment) Bye-laws, 1962.

(2) The Cork Airport Bye-laws, 1961 ( S.I. No. 229 of 1961 ), and these Bye-laws may be cited together as the Cork Airport Bye-laws, 1961 and 1962.

2 Commencement.

2. These Bye-laws shall come into operation on the eleventh day of April, 1962.

3 Preventing entry of animal.

3. The Cork Airport Bye-laws, 1961, are hereby amended by the insertion after Bye-law 3 of the following Bye-law :

" 3A. (1) The owner of an animal shall prevent the animal from entering the Airport unless the animal is accompanied by a person having charge of it.

(2) This Bye-law is without prejudice to the prohibition by Bye-law 3 on bringing an animal into the Airport if its presence therein has been forbidden by an authorised officer."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of these bye-laws is to prohibit trespass on Cork Airport by animals.
