Grants to the Commission.

28.—(1) There may be paid to the Commission in each financial year out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas a grant or grants of such amount or amounts as the Minister, with the consent of the Minister for Finance and after consultation with the Commission in relation to its programme of expenditure for that financial year, may fix.

(2) A grant under this section shall be used by the Commission, subject to such conditions as may be specified in writing from timeto time by the Minister, with the consent of the Minister for Finance to defray any loss incurred by the Commission in relation to the export of bacon and shall not be used for any other purpose.

(3) A grant under this section shall be paid into the Bacon (Price Stabilisation) Fund by the Commission.
