LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) ORDER, 1960.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) Order, 1960.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order, section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in the County Health District of Louth, the County Health District of Roscommon and the Urban District of Kilrush.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in the County Health District of Louth, the County Health District of Roscommon and the Urban District of Kilrush. Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping.
