DUBLIN AIRPORT (PARKING FEES) BYE-LAWS, 1960.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 16 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1950 (No. 4 of 1950), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby make the following Bye-Laws:

1. These Bye-laws may be cited as the Dublin Airport (Parking Fees) Bye-laws, 1960.

2. These Bye-laws shall come into operation on the 31st day of July, 1960.

3. The fees set out in the Schedule to these Bye-laws shall be charged for the parking of vehicles in Dublin Airport.

4. The Dublin Airport (Parking Fees) Bye-laws, 1956 ( S.I. No. 133 of 1956 ), are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

Type of Vehicle

Rate of Fee

Motor Cars

6d. for a period not exceeding one hour.

1s. for a period exceeding one hour but not exceeding 3 hours.

2s. for a period exceeding 3 hours but not exceeding 6 hours.

2s. 6d. for a period exceeding 6 hours but not exceeding 24 hours, and

2s. 6d. for each subsequent period of 24 hours.

Motor Cycles

3d. for a period not exceeding one hour.

6d. for a period exceeding one hour but not exceeding 3 hours.

1s. for a period exceeding 3 hours but not exceeding 6 hours.

1s. 3d. for a period exceeding 6 hours but not exceeding 24 hours, and

1s. 3d. for each subsequent period of 24 hours.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Bye-laws prescribe the fees which may be charged for the parking of vehicles in Dublin Airport. These fees are in lieu of those prescribed by the Dublin Airport (Parking Fees) Bye-laws, 1956 ( S.I. No. 133 of 1956 ) which have been revoked.
