OPTICIANS REGISTERS (CERTIFICATION) ORDER, 1959.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (5) of section 23 and subsection (5) of section 32 of the Opticians Act, 1956 (Number 17 of 1956) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Opticians Registers (Certification) Order, 1959.

2. The fifth day of August, 1959, is hereby certified to be the day of the setting up of the Register of Ophthalmic Opticians and the day of the setting up of the Register of Dispensing Opticians.

GIVEN under the official seal of the Minister for Health this twentieth day of August, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Nine.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order certifies the day of the setting up, under the Opticians Act, 1956 , of the registers of ophthalmic opticians and dispensing opticians.
