ROAD VEHICLES (INDEX MARKS) (AMENDMENT) (No. 3) REGULATIONS, 1959.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 12 of the Roads Act, 1920, hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1959.

2. The Schedule to the Road Vehicles (Index Marks) Regulations, 1958 ( S.I. No. 14 of 1958 ) shall be amended by the insertion in the second column of the said Schedule of the following index marks :—

(a) ATI, BTI, CTI, DTI, ETI, FTI, GTI, HTI, ITI and JTI opposite the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Limerick ;

(b) AIM, BIM, CIM, DIM, EIM, FIM, GIM, HIM, IIM and JIM opposite the Council of the County of Galway, and

(c) AEI, BEI, CEI, DEI, EEI, FEI, GEI, HEI, IEI and JEI opposite the Council of the County of Sligo.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations prescribe additional index marks for motor vehicles registered by Limerick Corporation, Galway County Council and Sligo County Council.
