MILK (RETAIL PRICE) (DUBLIN SALE DISTRICT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1959.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of paragraph (e) of subsection (2) of section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions under Section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 ) Order, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 29 of 1941 ), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions) Act, 1945 (No. 21 of 1945), hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) (Amendment) Order, 1959.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1959.

2. The Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 72 of 1959 ), is hereby amended—

(i) by the substitution in paragraph (a) of Article 3 of " three " for " four ", and

(ii) by the substitution in paragraph (b) of that Article of " nine " for " eight " and " August " for " September ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This instrument fixes the maximum retail price for the nine months commencing on 1st August, 1959, for bottled milk, other than highest grade milk, in the Dublin Sale District (comprising the County Borough of Dublin, the Administrative County of Dublin and the Urban District of Bray). Milk sold in bottles or other closed receptacles of a capacity of a half-pint or less is excluded from the scope of the instrument.
