SWINE FEVER (CONTROLLED AREA) ORDER, 1957 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1959.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1958, and section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Swine Fever (Controlled Area) Order, 1957 (Revocation) Order, 1959.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 21st day of March, 1959.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The Swine Fever (Controlled Area) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 255 of 1957 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Order is to remove the remaining restrictions on the movement of swine, i.e., into, out of, or within the county borough of Dublin.
