GREYHOUND INDUSTRY ACT, 1958. GREYHOUND RACE TRACK (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1959.

Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 21 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Greyhound Race Track (Appointed Day) Order, 1959.

2. The 1st day of February, 1959, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of Section 21 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Order is to appoint 1st February, 1959, to be the day from which a licence from Bord na gCon will be necessary for the operation of a greyhound race track.
