SWINE FEVER (CONTROLLED AREA) ORDER, 1957 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1958.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1958, and Section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Swine Fever (Controlled Area) Order, 1957 (Amendment) Order, 1958.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1958.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. In Article 4 of the Swine Fever (Controlled Area) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 255 of 1957 ), the following definition shall be substituted for the definition of " controlled area "

" ' controlled ' area means the area comprising the county borough of Dublin ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Order is to reduce on and from 1st December, 1958, the controlled area under the Swine Fever (Controlled Area) Order, 1957. The new controlled area will comprise the county borough of Dublin (Dublin city).
