COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE (SALARIES OF OFFICERS) REGULATIONS, 1952 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1958.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 27 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), hereby make the following regulations :

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 (Amendment) Regulations, 1958.

(2) The Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 to 1956, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 to 1958.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. A salary payable under the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 to 1956, to an officer other than a Chief Agricultural Officer shall be increased as follows :

(a) in case the officer has not attained the age of twenty-one years—by £13 0s. 10d. per annum, and

(b) in any other case—by £26 1s. 8d. per annum if the officer is a male officer and by £19 11s. 3d. per annum if the officer is a female officer.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for increases in salaries for officers of Committees of Agriculture, other than Chief Agricultural Officers.
