S.I. No. 107 of 1958.

WATERFORD PUBLIC ASSISTANCE DISTRICT (DISPENSARY DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1958.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of Section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Waterford Public Assistance District (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1958.

2. That part of the functional area of the Board of Public Assistance for the Waterford Public Assistance District consisting of the Waterford Rural Dispensary District, the Waterford Urban Dispensary District and the portion of the County Borough of Waterford situate north of the River Suir shall be varied to comprise the dispensary districts specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto and each such dispensary district shall consist of the area described opposite thereto in the second column of the said Schedule.

The townlands of Little Island, Ballynakill, Grange Upper, No. 1 Cove, Grange Lower, Farran-shoneen, Grantstown, Williamstown, Knockboy, Bishopscourt, Ballygunner Castle, Ballygunnermore, Kilcaragh, Monamintra, Ballinamona, Killure,Carrigvoe, Ballycoarda, Couse, Kill-St. Laurence, and the area enclosed by these townlands and a line starting at the point where the southern boundary of the townland of Ballinamona meets the boundary of the townland of Coolgower, thence along the southern boundary of the townland of Coolgower to where it intersects Tramore Road, thence in a northerly direction on a line drawn along the middle of Tramore Road, Cork Road, Manor Street, Parnell Street and The Mall,and continued to a point in the River Suir where it intersects the northern boundary of Tower Ward, thence along that boundary in a south easterly direction to where it meets the boundary of the townland of Cove.

Waterford No 2

The area bounded by a line drawn along the northern boundary No 2 of Custom House Ward, thence in a southerly direction to the Clock Tower, thence in a southerly direction on a linealong the middle of Broad Street to where it meets Patrick Street, thence on a line drawn along the middle of this streetto where it meets Ballybricken Green thence along the northern and western boundaries of the Green to a point where it meets

  the centre of Lower Yellow Road, thence along the middle of this road, Upper Yellow Road and Marian Park Road and the continuation of that road to where it meets the south-western boundary of the townland of Killoteran, thence along this boundary, the south-western boundary of the townland of Baunfune, the western and southern boundaries of the townland of Orchardstown, the southern boundaries of the townland of Butlerstown South and Ballycashin, the western boundary of the townland of Ballyhoo, the western boundaries of the townlands of Duagh and Towergare, the southern and eastern boundaries of the townland of Towergare and the southern boundaries of the townlands of Duagh and Coolgower to where it meets a line drawn along the middle of Tramore Road, thence in a northerly direction along a line drawn along the middle of Tramore Road, Cork Road, Manor Street, Parnell Street and The Mall and continued to a point in the River Suir where it intersects the Northern Boundary of Tower Ward.

Waterford No. 3

That portion of the County Borough of Waterford situate north No. 3 of the River Suir and also the area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the northern boundaries of Custom House Ward and the Centre Ward meet in the River Suir, thence is a southerly direction to the Clock Tower, thence in a southerly direction on a line along the middle of Broad Street to where it meets Patrick Street, thence on a line drawn along the middle of this street to where it meets Bally-bricken Green, thence along the northern and western boundaries of the Green to a point where it meets the centre of Lower Yellow Road, thence along the middle of this road, Upper Yellow Road and Marian Park Road and the continuation of that road to where it meets the south western boundary of the townland of Killoteran, thence along this boundary to a point midway in the River Suir, thence along the middle of the River Suir in a north-easterly, easterly and south-easterly direction to the starting point of the line.
