HARBOUR RATES (WEXFORD HARBOUR) ORDER, 1950 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1958.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946) and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows :—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Wexford Harbour) Order, 1950 (Amendment) Order, 1958.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-eighth day of February, 1958.

2. The third column of the Schedule to the Harbour Rates (Wexford Harbour) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 238 of 1950 ), is hereby amended by the substitution, opposite " Coal, Culm " and " Coke " respectively in the first column of the Schedule, of " 1s. 3d." for " 1s. 0d." inserted therein by the Harbour Rates (Wexford Harbour) Order, 1950 (Amendment) Order, 1955 ( S.I. No. 91 of 1955 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order permits the Wexford Harbour Commissioners to increase the rate chargeable on coal, culm and coke from 1/- a ton to a maximum of 1/3 a ton.
