BREAD (PRICES) ORDER, 1955 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Bread (Regulation of Prices) Act, 1936 (No. 29 of 1936), hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Bread (Prices) Order, 1955 (Revocation) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 13th day of May, 1957.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order.

3. The Bread (Prices) Order, 1955 ( S.I. No. 164 of 1955 ) and the Bread (Prices) Order, 1955 (Amendment) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 215 of 1956 ) are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to remove control of the maximum wholesale and retail prices of bread.
