EMERGENCY POWERS (NOS. 270 AND 283) ORDERS (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Nos. 270 and 283) Orders (Revocation) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1957.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 270) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 122 of 1943), and the Emergency Powers (No. 283) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 257 of 1943), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke as from 1st March, 1957, the Emergency Powers (No. 270) Order, 1943, and the Emergency Powers (No. 283) Order, 1943. (The powers conferred by these Orders are being continued as from that date under the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Act, 1956 .)
