INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RULES, 1927 (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1956.

I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Industry and Commerce, with the sanction of the Minister for Finance and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 9 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927), as amended by Section 1 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) (Amendment) Act, 1949 (No. 32 of 1949), hereby make the following Rules :—

1. (1) These Rules may be cited as the Industrial Property Rules, 1927 (Amendment) Rules, 1956.

(2) These Rules shall be deemed to have come into operation on, and shall have effect as on and from, the 1st day of October, 1956.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Rules.

3. The Sixth Schedule to the Industrial Property Rules, 1927 ( S. R. & O. No. 78 of 1927 ) (inserted therein by the Industrial Property Rules, 1927 (Amendment) Rules, 1955 ( S.I. No. 116 of 1955 )) is hereby amended by the substitution for items 65 and 66 of the following items :

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Rules make provision for fees to be charged for photographic office copies of documents and for certifying such copies.
