S.I. No. 119/1956 - Trade Union Act, 1952 (Section 3) Order, 1956.

S.I. No. 119 of 1956.

TRADE UNION ACT, 1952 (SECTION 3) ORDER, 1956.

WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce is satisfied that, as regards the trade union mentioned in the Schedule to this Order, being a trade union registered under the Trade Union Acts, 1871 to 1952, it would cause undue hardship if such trade union were compelled to make and keep with the High Court the full deposit specified by Section 7 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 :

NOW, therefore, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 2 of the Trade Union Act, 1947 (No. 17 of 1947), as amended by Section 3 of the Trade Union Act, 1952 (No. 13 of 1952), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Union Act, 1952 (Section 3) Order, 1956.

2. This Order shall have effect for the period beginning on the 7th day of May, 1956, and ending on the appointed day.

3. Every sum of money mentioned in the Schedule to the Trade Union Act, 1941 , shall, as regards the trade union mentioned in the Schedule to this Order, be deemed to be reduced by seventy-five per cent.

SCHEDULE.

THE GUILD OF IRISH BAKERS.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 7th day of May, 1956.

(Signed) WILLIAM NORTON,

Minister for Industry and Commerce.
