EMERGENCY POWERS (NO. 282) ORDER, 1943 (VARNISH) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1955.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (Varnish) (Amendment) Order, 1955.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943, (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), shall, in so far as it suspends a duty of customs on articles mentioned at reference number 6 in the First Schedule to that Order, cease to have effect as respects articles imported on or after the 4th day of January, 1956.
