ROYAL HOSPITAL, KILMAINHAM (DISSOLUTION OF GOVERNORS AND REVOCATION OF CHARTERS) ORDER, 1955.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 (No. 16 of 1924), as amended by section 3 of the Adaptation of Charters Act, 1926 (No. 6 of 1926), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This order may be cited as the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham (Dissolution of Governors and Revocation of Charters) Order. 1955.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of December, 1955.

2.—(1) The Governors of the Hospital of King Charles the Second incorporated under that name by charter of the 19th day of February, 1684, are hereby dissolved.

(2) That charter and the charter of the 24th day of April, 1758, relating to the said governors are hereby revoked.
