MILITARY SERVICE PENSIONS REGULATIONS (No. 1), 1927 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1954.

I, OSCAR TRAYNOR, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 of the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924 (No. 48 of 1924), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations :

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Military Service Pensions Regulations (No. 1), 1927 (Amendment) Regulations, 1954.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. The Military Service Pensions Regulations (No. 1) 1927 ( S. R. & O. No. 13 of 1927 ), as amended, are hereby further amended by the deletion in paragraph 10 of all words before the proviso and the substitution therefor of " The Minister for Defence may accept an application under section 2 of the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924 (No. 48 of 1924), not later than the 18th day of March, 1955."

4. The Military Service Pensions Regulations (No. 1), 1927 (Amendment) Regulations, 1953 ( S.I. No. 117 of 1953 ), are hereby revoked.
