SALMON EXPORT LEVY REGULATIONS, 1954.

I, GEARÓID MAC PHARTHALÁIN, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Salmon Conservancy Fund Act, 1954 (No. 4 of 1954), and an tOrdú Iascaigh (Feidhmeanna Aire a Tharmligean), 1954 (I.R. Uimh. 43 de 1954), and after consultation with the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations :—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Salmon Export Levy Regulations, 1954.

2. These regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1954.

3. The rate of levy to be paid, in pursuance of the Salmon Export Levy Order, 1954, on salmon for export shall be—

(a) during the period from the 1st day of January to the 31st day of May in any year, 2d. per lb., and

(b) during the remainder of the year, 1d. per lb.

4. The levy shall be paid by affixing to the form prescribed in the Schedule postage stamps to the proper value.

5. The form, duly completed and stamped, shall be delivered to the proper Officer of Customs and Excise at the time of exportation as evidence of payment of the levy.
