COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE (SALARIES OF OFFICERS) REGULATIONS, 1952 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1953.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 27 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations:—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 (Amendment) Regulations, 1953.

(2) The Principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 and 1953.

2. In these Regulations the expression " the Principal Regulations " means the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1952 ( S.I. No. 317 of 1952 ).

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

4. A salary payable under the Principal Regulations shall be increased by one-twelfth (eight and one-third per cent.) thereof, subject to a minimum increase of thirty pounds and a maximum increase of seventy-five pounds.
