PUBLIC HEALTH (IRELAND) ACT, 1878 (SECTION 103), COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT OF GALWAY ORDER, 1953.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 1 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1896, and of every other power in this behalf enabling him hereby declares and orders as follows:—

1. The provisions of Section 103 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878, shall be in force within the limits or boundaries of the County Health District of Galway and the Council of the County of Galway are hereby invested with all the powers, rights, duties, capacities, liabilities and obligations of an urban district council under the said Section 103 of the said Act to be exercised and attach within the said limits and boundaries.

2. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878 (Section 103), County Health District of Galway Order, 1953.
