CUSTOMS DUTIES (MISCELLANEOUS SUSPENSIONS) ORDER, 1947 (BOOTS AND SHOES COMPONENTS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) Order, 1947 (Boots and Shoes Components) (Amendment) Order, 1952.

2. Article 4 of the Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 105 of 1947), shall, in so far as it suspends a duty of customs on articles mentioned at reference number 2 in the Sixth Schedule to the Finance Act, 1935 (No. 28 of 1935), as amended by subsequent enactments, cease to have effect as respects articles imported on or after the 29th day of July, 1952.
