S.I. No. 117/1952 - Trade Union Act, 1951 (Section 2) (No. 3) Order, 1952.

S.I. No. 117 of 1952.

TRADE UNION ACT, 1951 (SECTION 2) (NO. 3) ORDER, 1952.

WHEREAS, the Acting Minister for Industry and Commerce is satisfied that, as regards the trade union mentioned in the Schedule to this Order being a trade union registered under the Trade Union Acts, 1871 to 1951, it would cause undue hardship if such trade union were compelled to make and keep with the High Court the full deposit specified by Section 7 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 .

NOW, therefore, I, PROINSIAS MAC AOGÁIN, Acting Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Trade Union Act, 1947 (No. 17 of 1947) as amended by the Trade Union Act, 1948 (No. 11 of 1948), the Trade Union Act, 1949 (No. 11 of 1949), the Trade Union Act, 1950 (No. 19 of 1950) and the Trade Union Act, 1951 (No. 13 of 1951), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Union Act, 1951 (Section 2) (No. 3) Order, 1952.

2. This Order shall have effect for the period beginning on the 2nd day of May, 1952, and ending on the 8th day of July, 1952.

3. Every sum of money mentioned in the Schedule to the Trade Union Act, 1941 , shall, as regards the trade union mentioned in the Schedule to this Order, be deemed to be reduced by seventy-five per cent.

SCHEDULE.

The Agricultural Association of Ireland.

GIVEN under my Official Seal this 2nd day of May, 1952.

(Signed) PROINSIAS MAC AOGÁIN,

Acting Minister for Industry and Commerce.
