HOUSING (NEW HOUSES) REGULATIONS, 1948 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1948 (No. 1 of 1948), and in exercise of every other power enabling him in this behalf-hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Housing (New Houses) Regulations, 1948 (Amendment) Regulations, 1951.

(2) The Housing (New Houses) Regulations 1948 and 1950 and these Regulations shall be read and construed as one and may be cited together as the Housing (New Houses) Regulations 1948 to 1951.

2. The Housing (New Houses) Regulations, 1948 ( S.I. No. 90 of 1948 ) shall be amended by the insertion of the following words at the end of Article 5 :—

"or where such a house is partly built and an interest therein is acquired by a person who occupies the house on completion for the first time after the 1st day of August, 1950, the date on which such interest was acquired."
