S.I. No. 282/1951 - Harbour Rates (Fishing Vessels - Wexford Harbour) Order, 1951.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Fishing Vessels—Wexford Harbour) Order, 1951.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of October, 1951.

2. The rates set out in the Schedule to this Order are hereby fixed as the maximum rates to be charged on fishing vessels by the Wexford Harbour Commissioners in respect of Wexford Harbour.

3. Every statutory or other provision fixing, restricting or otherwise regulating the rates or the maximum or minimum rates chargeable by the Wexford Harbour Commissioners on subjects of charge set out in the Schedule to this Order, or the basis on which, or method by which, such rates are computed is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

1	On every gross ton of every fishing vessel belonging to or entering and using the harbour for the purpose of fishery, payable half yearly in advance on every 1st day of January and every 1st day of July, an annual sum not exceeding	3	0
2	On every gross ton of every fishing vessel not paying the rate mentioned at Reference No. 1, for each entry into the harbour, a sum not exceeding	0	4
3	(a) On every gross ton of every fishing vessel not paying the rates mentioned at Reference No. 1 or Reference No. 2, remaining in the harbour for a period of 28 days or part thereof, a sum not exceeding	0	4
	(b) On every gross ton of every fishing vessel not paying the rate mentioned at Reference No. 1, remaining in the harbour for a period in excess of 28 days, per month, a sum not exceeding	0	1½
4	On every gross ton of every fishing vessel not paying the rates mentioned at Reference Numbers 1 to 3 entering the harbour weatherbound (not to be charged more than once on same trip) a sum not exceeding	0	4
