S.I. No. 164/1951 - Nurses Act, 1950 (Establishment of an Bórd Altranais) Order, 1951.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 3 , 11 , 12 , 28 and 29 of the Nurses Act, 1950 (No. 27 of 1950), hereby orders as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Nurses Act, 1950 (Establishment of an Bórd Altranais) Order, 1951.

2. In this Order, " the Act " means the Nurses Act, 1950 (No. 27 of 1950).

3. The establishment date for the purposes of the Act shall be the 7th day of June, 1951.

4. Each person mentioned in the First Schedule to this Order is hereby appointed to be a member of An Bórd Altranais.

5. Each person mentioned in the Second Schedule to this Order is hereby appointed to be a member of the Midwives Committee.
