COAL PRICES (DUBLIN AND DUN LAOGHAIRE) DIRECTION, 1951.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in pursuance of Article 10 of the Prices and Charges (Standstill) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 3 of 1951 ), hereby directs as follows :—

1. This direction may be cited as the Coal Prices (Dublin and Dun Laoghaire) Direction, 1951.

2. On and after the date of this Direction household coal may be sold by retail in the County Borough of Dublin and the Borough of Dun Laoghaire, when sold under the conditions set out in Column (2) of the Schedule hereunder, at a price calculated at the rates set out in column (3) at the appropriate reference number.

3. No person shall offer or expose for sale by retail coal under reference numbers 2 and 3 in the Schedule unless he has prominently displayed in his premises and on the vehicle, stall, barrow or other container from which coal is sold a plainly legible notice stating the price at which such coal is offered for sale.

(a) if sold in lots of 10 stones

11s. per 10 stones

(b) if sold in lots of less than 10 stones

1s. 1½d. per stone

When sold retail to a domestic user at the premises of the vendor, delivery being taken at such premises

1s. 1d. per stone.
