PENSIONS (INCREASE) (DUNDALK HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS) REGULATIONS, 1950.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 7 of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1950 (No. 3 of 1950), hereby makes the following regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions (Increase) (Dundalk Harbour Commissioners) Regulations, 1950.

2. In these Regulations—

the expression " the Act" means the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1950 (No. 3 of 1950) ;

the expression " the appropriate sum " has the meaning given to it in the Act ;

the expression " the harbour authority " means the Dundalk Harbour Commissioners ;

the word " pension " means an allowance specified in Part V of the Schedule to the Act.

3. The increase in pension which may be granted by the harbour authority under the Act shall not exceed the appropriate sum.
