SEASHORE AT TRALISPEAN STRAND. FORESHORE ACT, 1933, PROHIBITORY ORDER (No. 2), 1950.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce being of the opinion that the removal of beach material from a particular area of seashore at or near Tralispean Strand, townland of Drishanemore, in the County of Cork, is likely to cause injury to the adjoining lands and property, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 6 of the Foreshore Act, 1933 (No. 12 of 1933), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Foreshore Act, 1933 , Prohibitory Order (No. 2), 1950.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The removal by any person of beach material of any kind, except seaweed, from any part of the area of seashore 184 yards, approximately, in length from north to south, and situated 1,025 yards south-west of the point where the boundary between the townlands of Drishanemore and Baronlaham meets the seashore is hereby prohibited.
