AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERY PRODUCTS (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ACT, 1947 (EXPORT OF SALMON) ORDER 1950.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Export of Salmon) Order, 1950.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 17th day of April, 1950.

3. The export of salmon, save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), is hereby prohibited.

4. Salmon lawfully caught by rod and line by a person holding a salmon rod licence issued under the Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1949, shall, if taken with him by that person when leaving the State by sea or air transport, be exempted from the prohibition effected by this Order.

5. The Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Export of Salmon) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 408 of 1947 ), is hereby revoked.
