S.I. No. 69 of 1950.

BRAY SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT REGULATIONS, 1950.

WHEREAS the Council of the Urban District of Bray applied to the Minister for Local Government (hereinafter called " the Minister ") for an Order making regulations prescribing a special speed limit within the Urban District of Bray :

AND WHEREAS the Minister caused a Public Inquiry to be held in relation to the said application :

AND WHEREAS the Minister has considered the representations made at the said Inquiry and the report of the person who held such Inquiry :

NOW THEREFORE the Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 48 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 (No. 11 of 1933) hereby makes the following regulations :—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Bray Special Speed Limit Regulations, 1950, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1950.

2. These regulations shall not apply to any class of vehicles as respects which an ordinary speed limit (as defined in Section 46 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 ) of less than 25 miles per hour has been fixed.

3. Subject to Article 2 hereof the speed of 25 miles per hour shall be the special speed limit at all times for all classes of vehicles in respect of all roads situate in the Urban District of Bray.
