S.I. No. 1 of 1950.

COUNTY LIMERICK (DISTRICT ELECTORAL DIVISIONS) ORDER, 1950.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section (3) of Section 81 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the County Limerick (District Electoral Divisions) Order, 1950.

2. The division of the County of Limerick into district electoral divisions shall be altered as follows :—

(a) There shall be constituted an additional district electoral division which shall be known as the District Electoral Division of Limerick Rural.

(b) The townlands and parts of townlands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of the District Electoral Divisions named in the second column of the said Schedule and shall become and form part of the District Electoral Division of Limerick Rural.

SCHEDULE.

Townlands and Parts of Townlands forming District Electoral Division of Limerick Rural

Name of District Electoral Division in which formerly situated

Ballynanty More, Coolraine and Moylish and the parts of the townlands of Ballynanty Beg, Farranshone More, Kilrush and Monabraher in the County of Limerick.

Limerick North Rural.

Ballinacurra (Hart), Clonlong, Flankerhouse and Galvone and the parts of the townlands of Ballinacurra (Bowman) Ballinacurra (Weston), Corkanree, Courtbrack, Killalee, Monamuck, Park, Rathbane North and Spital-land in the County of Limerick.

Limerick South Rural.

The part of the townland of Crossagalla situate west of a straight line drawn from the point on the boundary of the said townland where the townlands of Banemore and Rathbane North meet, to the point on the Southern boundary of the townland of Monaclinoe where the said Southern boundary meets the boundary of the townland of Crabb's-land.

Limerick South Rural.

The parts of the townlands of Monaclinoe, Singland and Rebogue situate in the county of Limerick West of a straight line drawn from the point on the Southern boundary of the townland of Monaclinoe where the said Southern boundary meets the boundary of the townland of Crabb's-land to a point in the middle of the River Shannon nearest to the point marked by a steel bar in the tow-path of the said River where the eastern boundary of the townland of Rebogue meets the bank of the said River.

Limerick South Rural.
