UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE (SUBSIDIARY EMPLOYMENTS) SPECIAL ORDER, 1949.

THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE (SUBSIDIARY EMPLOYMENTS) SPECIAL ORDER, 1949, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL WELFARE UNDER PARAGRAPH (j) OF PART II OF THE FIRST SCHEDULE TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, 1920.

By virtue of the powers conferred on him by paragraph (j) of Part II of the First Schedule to the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1920, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Minister for Social Welfare, hereby makes the following Special Order :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Unemployment Insurance (Subsidiary Employments) Special Order, 1949.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The employment of the class set forth in the Schedule hereto is specified as being of such a nature that it is ordinarily adopted as subsidiary employment only and not as the principal means of livelihood.

SCHEDULE.

Employment, involving part time service only, at Race Meetingsby the Racing Board.
