INFECTIOUS DISEASES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1949.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1 Definition.

1. In these Regulations, the expression " the Principal Regulations " means the Infectious Diseases Regulations, 1948 ( S.I. No. 99 of 1948 ).

2 Amendment of Article 27 of Principal Regulations.

2. Article 27 of the Principal Regulations shall be amended by inserting after the word " influenza " the words " primary pneumonia."

3 Citation and Construction.

3.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Amendment) Regulations, 1949.

(2) These Regulations shall be construed as one with the Principal Regulations.
