MINISTER FOR AGRICULTURE (AGENCY) ORDER, 1949.

WHEREAS JAMES DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, will, on account of absence from the State, be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office for a period commencing on the 6th day of December, 1949 :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Agriculture (Agency) Order, 1949.

2. THOMAS F. O'HIGGINS, Minister for Defence, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Agriculture during the period commencing on the 6th day of December, 1949, and ending on the date on which the said JAMES DILLON returns to the State.
